The Development Journey of PIDZOOM Helmet Mirror

The Development Journey of PIDZOOM Helmet Mirror

A rear mirror is a crucial safety accessory for riders, yet many Personal Electric Vehicles (PEVs) lack a proper one. This forces riders to create their own helmet mirrors, which can be time-consuming and often result in suboptimal outcomes.

Our Goal

We aim to produce a helmet mirror that meets the needs of riders by being:

  • Easy to adjust
  • Stable on the move
  • Protective of your eyes
  • Clear and offering a wide view
  • Built to last

Major Updates

Mass Production Version

Updated: 5/20/2024

More Bases

We have added a quick-release base for left-mounted riders in countries like the UK and Australia.

Two Mirrors

There will be two options for mirrors: one is a convex mirror, which can keep a compact and decent field of view, and the other is a flat mirror, which is wider (71mm) to achieve a clear image and still maintain a good field of view.

Easy Tightening

To simplify tightening without a screwdriver, we have included an extra thumb nut in the package for riders who don’t mind a bulkier look.

Compatibility

Now the straight mount is compatible with the quick-release base.

Dual Ball Joints

This design features dual ball joints, allowing it to fold back when not in use. The magnetic base can attach to the sun shield, making it easy to relocate.

We’re excited to share the development journey of our helmet mirror, a product designed to enhance safety and convenience for PEV riders. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to innovate and improve our offerings.
